Little Doves

Nestled in the grounds of Kristin School, Little Doves Early Learning Centre is a haven for exploration, learning and play. Offering a large outdoor garden space, the centre offers children a real connection with the natural world. There’s enough space for children to really spread out – for quiet unhurried moments in the sandpit, racing around playing hide and seek, collecting acorns and treasures from the garden or setting up a tea party on the lawn.
Every day, our first priority is ensuring that children feel safe, secure and nurtured. That way, they are able to truly flourish, to explore and to learn, and to reach their full potential.
Our programme of care and education is designed to tap into their natural curiosity for exploring and understanding the world around them. This approach fosters their creativity and imagination, and nurtures the attitudes, values and social skills that will set them up for life.
At the age of four, children move seamlessly into our well-established Kindergarten.

A garden of play and learning
Not so long ago, most Auckland houses had a big back garden for children to explore and roam free. As the city grows, and these back gardens become less common, it is more important than ever for children to have the chance to spend their days in fresh air and freedom in an unspoiled haven of nature. Little Doves offers an unrivalled 23 square metres of outdoor garden space for each and every child, offering real grass, real trees and real connection with the natural world.
