Congratulations to Year 13 cellist Jaydon Ma, who last weekend (1-2 August) placed second in the NZCT Secondary Schools’ Chamber Music Contest National Final as part of the 'Françaix Trio'. 

 

This highly prestigious competition featured 407 chamber music ensembles comprising over 1,500 talented student musicians from across the country. Jaydon represented Kristin as part of a trio alongside students from two other schools. 

 

The national final took place at the Christchurch venue 'The Piano' and will be broadcast on Radio NZ Concert in the near future. Well done to Jaydon and all of the Kristin students who performed in this year's competition.
