KRISTIN COMMUNITY PORTAL

Kristin’s internal information hub where students, parents and caregivers log-in to access more detailed information about everyday life at Kristin. This is where students will register for sports and other co-curricular opportunities, where parents can access relevant resources, notify the school of their children’s absences, check on their child’s academic progress or order school lunches. This portal also allows for the communication of notices and information to relevant groups via forums and notifications to be shared.

EMAILS

A Kristin family can expect to receive emails from their child’s teachers, Dean, Principal and other relevant staff from time to time regarding curriculum expectations, school trips/events, fundraising campaigns etc. Our very active Kristin Family & Friends (KFF) team also send an update email each term about up and coming KFF events and activities.

KRISTIN ENEWSLETTER

A digital newsletter providing a regular summary update on things that have taken place or are coming up around school is emailed to all current families weekly on a Friday during term time.

SCHOOL PUBLICATIONS

Kristin produces our school magazine ‘Kaleidoscope’ mid-year for distribution to current families. The content in this magazine covers our most significant successes and stories from January–June. This is followed up by a Yearbook focused on showcasing the milestones, student achievements and activities etc for the whole school year and is generally distributed the following January.

SOCIAL MEDIA

We highly recommend following our school’s social media pages on Facebook and Instagram to keep abreast of exciting news and event information, and potentially engage with other community members. We also have a Vimeo page showcasing an array of school videos that have been created over the last few years, and a LinkedIn page to enable appropriate networking. Other dedicated social media pages also exist for Alumni and KFF (our parent group).
