STRONG COMMUNITY
Service and the community have always been a vital part of the Kristin experience. The school was founded in 1973 on Christian values and community involvement, and while Kristin has grown a lot since these humble beginnings, these founding principles remain at the heart of everything we do.
Getting involved with the school community is a great way to connect with daily life at Kristin. Our parents’ association, Kristin Family and Friends (KFF), facilitates activities and events. We are the parent body and provide many opportunities, both formal and informal, for families to become involved. The Kristin community is richer for the involvement of its members and we invite parents to participate in whatever capacity is most suited to them.
As our school has matured, so too have the students who have passed through our gates, and today we are honoured to welcome a large number of former students back to Kristin with their own children. Founding patrons are still active and valued members of our community, providing a wonderful and direct connection to the origins of our school.
