Living on the North Shore means that you can live close to beaches and still be a close drive to the School by basing yourself at one of the lovely beach suburbs, from Orewa down to Takapuna. Commuting from the south side of the harbour bridge is easy, since you’re going against the traffic, and buses run direct from downtown to the Albany Bus Station.

TEACHERS REGISTRATION

To teach in New Zealand you will need your NZ Teachers Registration. This requires your overseas qualifications to be assessed by the NZ Qualifications Authority and a clear Police check. You can then apply for a Practising Certificate. This process can be time consuming so the sooner you can start the better.
