Sabrina Liu (Year 13) has achieved an incredible milestone in her ballet career, placing 1st in the Senior Classical Division at the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) international virtual competition. As the world’s largest and most prestigious youth ballet competition, the YAGP serves as a primary pipeline for professional companies. This win marks Sabrina’s most significant dancing achievement to date.

 

Following her victory, Sabrina has been invited to the Houston Finals in May. This is an exclusive honour, as only about 100 senior dancers are selected from a global pool representing 46 countries.

 

The celebrations continued this week with the news that Sabrina has also been awarded a scholarship to the YGP Ravenna Festival Summer Intensive in Italy.
