Congratulations to our Table Tennis superstar, Angel Han (Year 10), who has achieved remarkable results in competition over the school holidays.

 

Starting with New Zealand’s premier invitational table tennis tournament, TOPX, Angel recorded the biggest win of her table tennis career, defeating Commonwealth Games champion and four-time Olympian Li Chunli in a thrilling seven-set battle to claim the Open Women’s Champion title. 

 

At the North Island Championships, Angel won the U15 Singles Champion title and was the Women's Open Singles Runner-up, and at the North Island Open, she was crowned Women's Open Singles Champion and Open Mixed Doubles Champion.

 

Angel has also been selected to represent New Zealand at the 2026 Oceania Seniors Championships (26–30 August) and Oceania Youth Championships (1–5 September) in Ballarat, Australia, as well as the team heading to the Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships in New Delhi, India, from 27 July to 2 August.
