Imogen Harwood wins AIMES Award

Congratulations to Imogen Harwood (Class of 2018) for being honoured with the North Harbour Club AIMES Arts Award at the special AIMES Awards ceremony last Saturday evening, where she also put on an incredible performance for the audience.

Imogen Harwood is an accomplished musical theatre performer and classical musician, currently training at the Guildford School of Acting (GSA) in the UK. Her passion for theatre and music was fostered and ignited at Kristin through drama and productions. Imogen played the lead role as Christine in the Senior School Production of The Phantom of the Opera in 2018, an experience that solidified her decision to pursue a career in the arts.

Imogen moved to the UK to further her training after completing a Bachelor of Music in Classical Singing and a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Auckland. Since enrolling at GSA, she has performed in West End concerts, secured leading roles in productions at the academy and auditioned for major industry names such as Cameron Mackintosh and Pippa Ailion.

With her talent and determination, Imogen is set to make a lasting impact in musical theatre, proudly representing New Zealand on the world stage.

Imogen receives the North Harbour Club AIMES Arts Award for 2025, sponsored by Milford Asset Management, which includes a cash grant of $15,000.

We look forward to continuing to follow Imogen’s journey in the performing arts world.
