Kristin Shakespeare Company

Middle and Senior School students with a passion for developing acting skills and an understanding of the works of William Shakespeare have the opportunity to join the Kristin Shakespeare Company.

Students work in small groups as both actors and directors, while preparing for participation in the annual Sheila Winn Shakespeare Festival. In this festival students perform at regional competitions, which can lead to involvement in the national festival.

In recent years several Kristin students have been selected from the national festival to represent New Zealand on the stage of the Shakespeare Globe Theatre in London.
