50th Jubilee Stars Of Gold

To conclude a very special weekend of jubilee events in March 2023, Kristin Performing Arts produced Stars of Gold – a concert honouring Kristin’s 50th Anniversary. We were thrilled to host almost 500 community members for this one night only event, which included special guests comprising former production team members, performing arts teachers, principals, and friends of the school, all of whom enjoyed a nostalgic look back at 50 years of Kristin’s renowned Performing Arts programme.  

Stars of Gold brought together a seasoned group of current and past Kristin performers, including our premier choir, Euphony; a company of 10 Middle School and 12 Senior School students; and 6 alumni, who were stars of the Kristin stage during their time as a student. Throughout the evening, the audience were treated to exquisite choral and classical vocalists, show-stopping highlights from Kristin Productions past, and never-before-seen moments from Kristin Productions that sadly never made the stage over the past few years. The finale, which resulted in an Auditorium wide standing ovation, was an emotional and heartfelt rendition of the school song, written by Anne Tindall.  

Beyond the work of the performers, the crew and the production team, Stars of Gold was curated to honour everyone involved in creating Kristin’s highly distinguished legacy in the Performing Arts. From those who have directed productions, to those who have sewn buttons on costumes; those who have stage managed, to those who have designed lighting; those who have taken the stage, to those who have appreciated and applauded from the audience – Stars of Gold was for everyone who has contributed to the magic of Performing Arts over 50 incredible years.
