Water Polo

At Kristin we provide Water Polo teams at Year 7-8, Junior (Year 9-10) and Senior (Year 11-13) levels. Your child must be able to swim 25m competently to play Water Polo.

Season/Competition (Year 7-13)
Intermediate Programme: All year competitions. Players can commit per semester, Term 1-2, and then Term 3-4 together.
Junior Programme (Year 9-10): All year competitions. Players must commit for the year.
Senior Programme (Year 11-13): Term 4 and Term 1 Commitment. Competition begins Term 1.
Uniform
Students play in school togs which can be purchased directly from the Water Polo Sports manager in the Sports Office. Charges for these togs will be placed on the students school account. Team t-shirts and tracksuits can be purchased from the Retail Shop.
Students are expected to arrive at all sporting events in the correct Kristin Sports uniform.
Cost
Intermediate Programme: Approx. $150 per player per term
Junior Programme (Year 9-10): Approx. $200 per player per term
Senior Programme (Year 11-13): Approx. $250 per player per term
Includes coaching, pool hireage and League entry fees. Tournaments and events are an extra cost.

Trials
Year 7-10 trials will occur during training days indicated above in the first 3 weeks of Term 1.
Senior and Premier teams will use a Saturday morning session, 2 February, to allow any new Year 11-13 students a chance to try the sport.
