Swimming

Swimming is an exciting individual and team sport as well as a technical and specialized activity. Most of our swimmers are affiliated with local swimming clubs throughout Auckland and compete at local, national and international levels.

Season/Competition

Kristin School has three Swimming Sports days early in Term 1: Junior School, Year 7-8 and Year 9-13. From these events, the top swimmers are chosen to represent the school at the North Harbour and Auckland Championships. Kristin swimmers are affiliated with local clubs and train with their club.

Uniform

School togs and cap. The school tracksuit is compulsory for all students in school sports teams. Students are expected to arrive at all sporting events in their Junior Schoool dark or navy or Kristin school togs and cap. Students representing Kristin at the Northern Bays competition are expected to wear Kristin swimming togs and cap.

Cost

Swim meet entry.
