Materials Technology Teacher

Role and Experience Needed

We are seeking a world-class full-time technologist, start date negotiable. This role will be initially fixed term, however has the potential to become permanent. You will have experience teaching materials technology or graphics.

An engineering background and/or interest in further developing and advancing a future focussed programme would be an advantage. You will teach across our Middle and Senior Schools, Year 7-13 and will be supportive of students to identify problems and needs, conceptualise designs and realise challenging and imaginative solutions.

Passionate about innovation and eager to constantly redefine what a technology programme looks like, you will be committed to the School, attend Camp week and co-curricular activities. Little Doves Centre Assistant


We are looking for a couple of Assistants to support the teachers, Chef and Centre Manager with the smooth running of the centre. Responsibilities include; assisting with meal preparation, delivery and clean-up of meals, tidying and cleaning of the centre through the day, laundry (as you can imagine there might be quite a bit), tidying of play areas inside and out, helping with the children as needed and basically pitching in wherever possible to help.

The hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm. These roles are full-time; operate all year with 4 weeks off during the Christmas close-down.

Experience needed

Junior School Librarian

  • Well supported and resourced Library

  • Ability to be creative and innovative

  • Albany location with park-like grounds


We are looking for an enthusiastic person to work in our whole school Library focusing on our Junior School children from Kindergarten to Year 6. This open plan, welcoming environment is a favourite space for our students, and you would be instrumental in inspiring their passion for reading and learning as well as teaching them how to research and to use print and digital resources to enhance their knowledge. Working alongside teachers, you will support inquiry learning as well as participate in every-day Library activities (circulation, collection management, cataloguing). Our Library is highly regarded in the School, well-resourced and supportive of creative and innovative ideas. This busy role is part of a team of four and operates Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm, term time only plus one week each term break (41 weeks of the year). 

Experience needed

  • Qualified Librarian, or currently undertaking, or considering, study towards a Professional Library qualification
  • Experience with primary or intermediate students desirable
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft office and GSuite for Education
  • Familiarity with Library Management Systems e.g. Oliver 5, would be an advantage
  • Highly organised, with great attention to detail 
  • Customer focused with an empathy for children
