An excited group of Kristin rugby players left school 10 April bound for Vancouver 13 hours away and a 4 match 2-week tour.
Arriving in Vancouver, the boys were quickly into tour mode with a training run two hours after landing. This saw them in good stead for their opening match against Lord Byng. A great win 38 - 26. Another win over St Georges and two narrow losses against Brentwood College and James Bay followed.
With sightseeing and wonderful hospitality from our hosts, the boys had a great learning experience and also some excellent preparation for the upcoming season. It was exciting to see the boys in their last two days take to the slopes of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains.
Then the long flight home arriving back in NZ at 5.15am Anzac day. Well done team!
