A 14-strong Kristin Swimming Team delivered a historic campaign at the New Zealand Secondary School Swimming Championships this past weekend at AUT Millenium. Our Kristin team placed second overall — the highest team finish in Kristin School history at this level.

 

In a formidable field featuring the top secondary schools in New Zealand and more than 700 competing athletes, our young squad demonstrated exceptional talent and determination.

 

Overall, our team claimed 23 medals, highlighted by Year 9 student Reagan Liang’s eight medals, which included five Gold.

 

This outstanding overall result is a credit to the dedication of our student-athletes and the leadership of our Head of Swimming, Sarah Thomas.
