World Youth Sailing Championships; Bronze medal

Year 13 student Greta Stewart and her sailing partner Tom Fyfe, represented NZ and won bronze in the Nacra 15 class, in 2018 Youth World Sailing Championships at Corpus Christi, Texas USA. This is the pinnacle sailing event for those aged 18 yrs & under world sailing. There were 23 other countries represented in the event. 
Greta is now the second person ever to win 3 Youth World medals – the other being Chris Dickson. This was the 4th Youth Worlds she has qualified for- winning bronze medals in 2015 and 2016 in the 29er with her sister Kate. In 2017, she placed 6th again in the Nacra class with fellow Kristin student Henry Haslett.
