2017 The Jungle Book Kids
As the lights dimmed for the last time on the 'Kristin Jungle' it saw the end of the 2017 Performing Arts production timetable and an uplifting, colourful finish to the year. The Jungle Book KIDS transported audiences to the depths of the Indian Jungle, which became a place of sheer jubilation as the audience were reunited with the much-loved characters and favourite songs from the all-time classic. Families cheered with pride following every scene, many clapping (and singing) along and springing to their feet at the end of each show. Every one of the 454 Kristin Junior School students, from Kindergarten to Year 6, had a special place on our jungle stage. Throughout this journey of sheer joy, families heard Jungle Book tunes sung repeatedly by enthusiastic cast members as spontaneous sounds of The Jungle Book resonated daily at home and around the school grounds. The energy of the students during the build-up to production week was infectious. A strong sense of Kristin community prevailed behind the scenes once again, with parents, grandparents and students from all three schools contributing their valuable time and skills to help bring the Jungle Book KIDS to life. Congratulations to the cast, crew and production team and sincere thanks to everyone who gave their time and talent to ensure the success and enjoyment of The Jungle Book KIDS.
