School Governance
Kristin School is owned by a charitable trust which is managed by six Trustees, none of whom can be current parents or staff. The Trustees are then joined by four others (three current parents and one past student) to form the Kristin School Board of Governors.
The Board employs long-term succession planning to ensure an appropriate mix of skills and talents are available to assist the Senior Management Team. The Board meets once a month during term time, where it is joined by the Executive Principal and the Director of Business Services in order to set and review policy, plan and authorise the capital works program, direct the school's financial position, oversee risk and compliance issues and deal with any other governance issues which may arise.
