Kelsi Boocock, Kristin Alumni from the Class of 2015, was back on campus in Term 1 to present to two of our Year 11 Business Studies classes. Kelsi is the founder of a brand-new canned natural protein shake drink called Shnack, which has taken off in recent months and is now sold in supermarkets all over the country. 

 

Kelsi told her story of how she began her business journey after graduating with a Business degree from Massey University,  starting a food blog, a natural protein business and now Shnack, which has become her major focus due to its popularity and success. 

 

She also passed on some things that she thinks are key to this success, such as surrounding yourself with the right people, being resilient and knowing your value. 

 

Kelsi also spoke fondly of the connections she forged during her time at Kristin and told the students that many of the people she now works with in her business are Kristin Alumni.  

 

Our Year 11 Business Studies students are currently studying enterprise and entrepreneurship, and this insight and knowledge will be fantastic for their learning.
