Netball is one of the school's largest sports and is played both socially and competitively from Year 2-13. Available primarily as a winter sport, pre-season trainings and trials begin early in Term 1 and the season concludes mid-Term 3. Summer Netball is played in Term 4 and is a popular social avenue for students to experience Netball.

Netball caters for all ages and levels from Year 2 through to Senior teams. Experienced and new players are welcome.

The winter competition season runs from the first week in Term 2 through to Week 6 or 7 in Term 3. Trainings for all teams will be at Kristin School, either before or after school on weekdays. The coach will determine the most suitable day and time.

There is no play on Queen's Birthday Weekend or during most school holidays, however, as our holidays overlap with other schools some matches will fall during the Kristin school break. Players must be available for these games.

We aim to keep this document as up to date as possible, however if you're looking for dates that are not listed here, or for the full competition draw, visit the Netball North Harbour website:

Kristin has a strong umpire development programme led by Sarah Underdown. All players and non-players, that are interested in umpiring, are coached and mentored through the netball New Zealand umpire pathway. Getting involved in umpiring is a fantastic way to improve a players understanding of the game. So grab a whistle and join the team in white. Anyone interested in umpiring can register using the registration form or email Sarah.

Fees range from approximately $220 (Year 7-8) through to $500 (Premier team). They are dependent on the costs of running teams for the season including coaching, umpiring and gear requirements. There is an additional charge for those students selected into high perfrmance programme, pre-season training and any other additional training sessions.
