Water Polo Busy Weekend

It was a busy weekend in the water for Kristin Water Polo teams, with 13 of the 15 teams across the school all playing.
The Seals and Kingfish came away with draws, while the new Stingrays team and Swordfish suffered narrow losses.

Intermediate grading was in full swing, and AUT Millennium was a very hectic place to be on a Friday afternoon.
The final of the Junior 1 Day Tournaments was held on Saturday, the team coming away with all possible results - loss, draw and to cap it off a win.

In the final rounds of the College Sport league, the Senior Boys finished on an astounding 10-0 win against Waitakere Mixed.
The Premier Boys showed their fighting spirit, and development throughout the season going down 8-11 to St Peters A team.

The highlight was the Premier Girls taking a 7-6 win over St Kent’s to come away with the Bronze medal.
The Premier teams head into NZ Secondary School Nationals, being held in Auckland in the first week of the school holidays, while other teams, and their coaches earn a well deserved 2 week break.
