On Friday 5 April, the Junior School hosted their annual Grandparents Day. Students from across the Junior School were excited to show their Grandparents their new classrooms and share what they have been learning in class this term. It was lovely to see the students faces light up whilst interacting with their Grandparents. During the morning Grandparents participated in a variety of activities such as maths games, interviews about what schooling was like in their day, using iPads as a learning tool, outdoor challenges and more.
After a delicious morning tea, Grandparents Day was finished off on a high with a special assembly that was dedicated to the Grandparents of the Junior School. There were performances from the Treble Clefs, student choirs, Chinese dance group, marimba and ukulele groups, and more. Both the grandparents and grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed their time together and the students felt proud to be able to share a small part of their school life with their loved ones.
