It is with regret that we now have the confirmation of the resignation of Rob Pickstock.
Rob has resigned and will be leaving Kristin before the end of Term 1. He is going to look after his business interests in the Far North and further develop other football projects.
Over the last nine months, great care has been taken to review football at Kristin and to adjust the structure to align better with the National Framework and to be a more natural fit within the dynamics of the Kristin community and the trends of sport.
We are delighted to confirm Andrew Clay as Rob's replacement. Andrew has been appointed 1st XI boys coach already this year and comes to Kristin with a wealth of football experience in both coaching and management roles. Andrew will start in the position of Head of Football next week allowing a handover period before Rob departs for the far north.
The 2019 season is well in hand with high-quality qualified coaches contracted for the season. The trial process, team allocation and organisational set up for the season will be finalised before Rob's departure.
We thank Rob for the passion and drive that he has brought to Kristin Football. We wish him and the family all the very best with their new endeavours in the north.
