Final days in Seattle
The last week in Seattle has been packed full of interesting workshops on a variety of topics from entrepreneurship and how to start up your our company at the Center for Commercialization at the Washington University to attending ToK classes at Chief Sealth International School, volunteering at the Cherry Street Food Bank and getting an overview about the Earth corps work in the USA. Our final activity for last week was very touristy; we rode the duck, which is an amphibious vehicle which travels around some of the water based attractions near the CBD. Seattle is looking very festive for the Christmas holiday season and I was lucky enough to participate in the annual Jingle Bell fun run supporting the Arthritis Foundation yesterday (Sunday) morning through downtown Seattle. Today is our last full day of activities before departing for Washington D.C. tomorrow where we will meet up with the Portland group.
