The Junior School presented 'Alice in Wonderland Jr.' to our Kristin Community in August. We were very proud of our Year 4-6 students who showed enthusiasm for their parts in the performance. The costumes were also a feast of colour. Click here for information about the Junior School production 2009.

Middle and Senior School Production 2010

To celebrate a decade of memorable major productions, Kristin is re-staging the legendary 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' that last raised the roof in 2000.

Middle and Senior School Production 2009

There have been few Kristin productions as ambitious as 'Beauty and the Beast' which the Middle and Senior School brought to the Auditorium stage in June. This show involved a cast of nearly 100 students plus 80 students in the crew.

It was totally professional! It was a delight! We hope you took the chance to see this vibrant creation.

Complete with clever inventions created by Kristin staff (the rose, the trolley and the vehicle), performers took to the Auditorium stage in this spectacular event. Click here for information about the Middle and Senior School production 2009.

Drama

The aims of the Theatre/Drama course are to enable students to experience and participate in a wide and varied range of theatre activities and develop proficiency in more than one area of theatre technique.

Students will become familiar with forms of theatre from their own and different cultures, they will explore different theatre traditions in their historical contexts and develop academic skills appropriate for the study and understanding of theatre. The aim is to enable students to become reflective and critical practitioners and to develop the confidence to explore, to experiment and to work individually and collaboratively on innovative projects, which should involve challenging established notions of theatre. Students will learn to undertand the dynamic, holistic and evolving nature of theatre and the interdependencies of the aspects of this art form.
