From the Desk of Executive Principal, Peter Clague

Word Play

A warm welcome to you all for 2012. The wet summer and drab economic outlook don't seem to have dampened the enthusiasm of the Kristin family at all and it has been uplifting to watch as 1565 positive and optimistic young people returned for the start of the academic year. If the Chinese calendar is correct, the Year of the Dragon will be a propitious one. Certainly, Kristin has started in good heart. Last year's academic results were superb, the roll is healthy and enrolment requests...

The Teen Commandments

I know all that stuff about youth being wasted on the young, but frankly, today's children aren't getting much of a chance to waste their youth. Little by little, it's being taken from them. Eroded before they are...

Hidden Rewards

His topic was complex and highly theoretical and on more than one occasion he despaired whether anyone would ever read it. However, his professors assured him that his research was very valuable and would be of interest to many. Finally, the day came when he submitted five weighty copies of his manuscript; one for his Professor, one for the examiners, and three for the Library. Some...
