Kristin Middle School

The Middle School years (Year 7 - Year 10) involve immense change for students. In planning educational outcomes for them, the paramount emphasis must be on the students' healthy growth and development in all areas – academic, sporting, social, cultural and spiritual. Young adolescents have social, physical, emotional and and intellectual needs that can be met only through educational experiences that are different from either the Junior or Senior School. They undergo huge changes during the time they are in the Middle School and their education during this time must directly address their needs.

Our Middle School was created in 1998 and includes just under 700 students. There are only a handful of Middle Schools in New Zealand, but internationally the concept is extremely popular. Kristin Middle School aims to be the best in the world.
