Journey with Us

Whenever a student chooses to study oversease for a long or short periods, both risks and rewards are inherent factors of this experience. According to our past and current group of international students, it is the rewards that have been paramount. Find out why...

Orientation

On arrival, students are greeted by international staff, assisted with uniform and stationery, shown around the campus, counselled for course confirmation and introduced to academic deans and support staff. They are also introduced to student counsellors and buddies at a welcome lunch. Students will be provided with ongoing support from pastoral care staff and support staff  throughout the year.

Peer Support

Each student is assigned an individual buddy to assist with their introduction to school life. There is also a committee of senior students who are responsible for supporting international and exchange students by providing orientation guidance, buddy and peer mediation programmes, as well as arranging social activities. They also provide ongoing mentoring support.

Student Leadership

The opportunity to learn and put into practice leadership skills is one of the most important aspects of Kristin School. Students who wish to assume a leadership role at Kristin must understand that in doing so, they are committing themselves to working for other people, rather than for their own personal glory.

Alumni

Now in our 38th year, we are proud to hear of the progress and successes of our past pupils and encourage them to send us updates and to stay in touch by attending our annual reunions.  Following the success of our range of  international Reunions held in 2009, we have now moved to form the official Kristin Alumni Association.  We would now like to broaden our communications and invite more interaction between the school and our alumni through an official association.
