Step 3: Applicant added to our Database

Applications submitted to the Registrar of Admissions are reviewed by the relevant staff, and the applicant's details are added to our database.

Kindergarten - We will contact you approximately 6 months prior to the entry date you have requested for your child. At this time we will inform you if there are positions available.  If so, an interview will then be organised and further information may be requested from your child's current preschool.  If there are no positions available, your child's details will be listed for the next entry point (Year 1.)

Junior School - We will contact you one term prior to the entry date you have requested for your child.  At this time we will inform you if there are any positions available.  If so, an interview will then be organised.  Further information relating to your child's current progress may also be requested at this time. If there are no positions available, your child's details will be listed for the next year level.

Middle School and Senior School - If entry is for the following year and vacancies are available, an interview will usually be organised straight away. Interviews for 2017 entry are ongoing whilst interviews for entry in 2018 at our main intake points (Year 7 and Year 9)  commenced in November 2016.  We welcome your child's application.

Following an interview, the Principal will promptly advise the outcome in writing. For those being offered a placement at Kristin, formal acceptance is then requested within two weeks. Formal acceptance to secure placement refers to completion of the acceptance documentation and payment of the entrance fee and Kristin Education Bond.

Enrolled students are added to the school roll and will receive full information about induction to Kristin, course selection and news publications.
