Junior School Speech Competition
On Tuesday 20 July, the Junior School Speech Competition finals were held in the Auditorium. The top two speeches from each class were presented and judged by Mr David Shaw and Mrs Christine Mills from the English Faculty. The topics included literary, historical and scientific topics from Harry Houdini and the Platypus to the history of Football and Laughter.
After a hard-fought competition, Martha Bell was awarded 2nd place for her speech about Homework. Jonathan Cashmore was placed 1st for his entertaining speech entitled 'My Dad's a Dude'. Jonathan will move on to present his speech at the Northern Bays Cluster Zone finals during the last week of Term 3.
