Marketing and Communications Manager

 

Role

This newly created role will focus on designing, developing and delivering on the marketing plan to support Kristin's strategic objectives and projects. The scope of the role offers plenty of variety including marketing strategy, branding activities, communications (internal and external), social media, digital marketing, public relations and publications, including the school magazine Kaleidoscope.  Working as part of a dynamic team, this role reports to the Director of Marketing and Advancement to deliver on building Kristin's profile, brand awareness and competitive position. While this role is full-time it can offer flexibility in the school holidays for the right person.

Experience needed

A strong track record of creative marketing initiatives and results from the education or service industries.  Knowledgeable in marketing, branding, public relations, communications and social media, this person will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong relationship building skills, high energy and passionate about working in a team environment. The School uses google systems and experience with Adobe Photoshop and Indesign would be desirable, however not essential.  Most importantly, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate commitment to Kristin's core values that are articulated in our distinct motto to "Progress with Vision, Integrity and Love".

Primary Enrichment Teacher

Role and experience needed

We are seeking an inspiring teacher for our Junior School to support three or four classes in a year group for remedial and extension programmes. This person will be experienced with differentiation programmes that improve student outcomes in a primary school environment.

Experience with the Primary Years Programme (PYP) would be advantageous, however training will be provided. A familiarity with standard literacy and numeracy assessment tools would also be a priority. This role is part-time across a 7-day timetable (28/42 periods per cycle) so you need to be available Monday to Friday. Passionate about innovative student initiatives, you will be committed to the School and co-curricular activities.

We are seeking an inspiring teacher for English commencing January 2018. Concentrating on mainly the Middle School from Year 7-10, the person will have the ability to also teach at the Senior level. Knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum or IB would be advantageous, however training is provided.

We are seeking an inspiring teacher to join our Middle and Senior School Visual Arts department, commencing January 2018. This role will have Curriculum Leadership responsibilities and comes with a leadership higher duties allowance. The ability to teach painting is essential. Applicants should state any additional art mediums in which they have strength. Knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum or IB would be advantageous, however training is provided.

Year 7 Homeroom teacher

Role

We are seeking a passionate and motivated teacher to join our friendly and supportive staff. Ideally you will be a team player who demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum especially with Humanities, English and Mathematics.  Experience teaching the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) would be an advantage, however training will be provided. The development of learning focused relationships and an ability to integrate digital technology into teaching and learning is essential.  You will be committed to the school's co-curricular programme and Camp week.

We are seeking an inspiring teacher for Science commencing 2018. Open to beginning or experienced teachers, we are seeking someone who is willing to teach across Year 7-10 as well as Senior classes.
