Fencing

Kristin School does not offer a specific school training programme at this time. Students Fence at various clubs within Auckland.

JF Fencing does however offer Kristin students classes for beginners and advanced fencers in Year 2-13 on Saturday mornings throughout Terms 1-4 in the Roy Munn Gymnasium. Judit Fliszar is an internationally qualified Fencing Coach with years of elite-level competitive history. For more information email Judit>>

Judit voluntarily manages our competitive Fencing preparation alongside a designated Kristin School Manager for secondary school team events. She also assists the school in offering training in advance of these competitions for selection purposes. Students may be selected based on individual results, experience in the sport and rankings where required.

Registration

Registrations are completed online via our sport registration forms.

Uniform

Students to wear comfortable sport wear, court shoes are required for trainings. Students attending competitions representing Kristin are required to purchase a NF Fencing Shirt. Every fencer is required to purchase their own gloves. Female fencers are required to purchase their own chest protector. Kristin Fencing Club provides Jackets, Masks and Foils.

Note: Fencers who are planning to compete are required to purchase their own equipment.

Training

Trainings are held on Saturday mornings in the Roy Munn Gymnasium. Sessions are held from 9am-10.30am. Another session may be offered dependant on the number of participants registered.

Cost

Club fees and competition costs are paid directly with NF Fencing. For further information please email Judit. School competition fees and costs will be managed through school accounts.
