Kristin Masterclass presents... Dr Lucy Hone - Resilience; how can we develop it in our children?

Why do some people cope better with adversity than others?

Lucy Hone examines this and other matters of resilience in a free Masterclass presentation at Kristin School at 7pm on Tuesday 27 June in the Auditorium.

Lucy is a research academic in the field of resilience/well-being psychology. Lucy's beloved 12-year-old daughter Abi was killed in 2014 in a devastating car accident in Canterbury that also claimed the lives of Abi's friend Ella and Ella's mother Sally.

In this Masterclass Lucy will reflect on this traumatic situation and her hands on experience and practical insights on how to build resilience in children. She will also talk about how to juggle work, family, community, social and well-being commitments.

Invest in your well-being – put something back into the psychological piggy bank that the stresses and strains of our daily lives threaten to empty.
