Class Coordinators

Every class in the Junior and Middle Schools are allocated a Class Coordinator. The Class Coordinator is a nominated parent of a child in the class. These parents play a key role in the early stages of building our school community.

Kristin families come to us from all over the North Shore and many from far further afield , they don't always have the opportunity to get to know other families as neighbours or familiar faces from their area. Class Coordinators work towards creating a Kristin community by holding regular casual social events where they can meet and get to know other families and friends of their children.

Activities will vary according to the age of the children, picnics, movie nights and dinners are an effective way of making everyone feel part of the school and especially important for those parents who are new to the Kristin environment.  In addition, Class Coordinators will facilitate the organisation of groups of parents who would like to attend functions together such as the Parents Ball, Ladies Lunch or Golf Day.  

Those parents who volunteer for the role as Class Coordinator are issued with a Handbook which enables them to work independently but within the framework of the school.  Class Coordinators are responsible in the first instance to the appropriate Principal who are also assisted and supported by Pamela Peryman, Director of School Relations and her team.  Parents should feel free to contact Judi Paape, Adam Heath or Pamela Peryman if they have any questions or concerns or if they require any assistance in their roles.  Handbooks are issued at the beginning of the year but replacement copies are available from the Junior and Middle School offices.
