All matters of attendance at Kristin are managed by our Attendance Officer, located in reception at the Wellness Centre. All students' attendance is monitored and, in consultation with parents, absences recorded.

Middle and Senior School
Students arriving late to school must see the Attendance Officer, located in the Wellness Centre, when they arrive at school. They will be expected to have a note from a parent or an appointment card. The parent may also make a phone call to the School Absences Telephone Message Line, 09 415 9566 Ext 2393, or email the absence details directly to the Attendance Administrator.
Students needing to leave school during the day, for an appointment or similar, must go to the Wellness Centre for a leave pass and sign out with the Attendance Officer. They must present their appointment card, have a note of explanation, or have phoned or emailed the Attendance Officer in advance. The Attendance Officer will be in the Wellness Centre from 8.00am onwards each day, so students can go before school to get a leave pass.
Students leaving school because of sickness need to go to the School Nurse who will contact their parents. The nurse is located in the Wellness Centre.
For students who are at home sick and cannot come to school, it is a requirement that a parent contact the Attendance Officer at the start of that day by phone message or email. This needs to occur every morning if they are to be absent for that day.
Students who arrive late to school are to sign in at the Junior School Office while accompanied by a parent.
Students who leave during the day are to be signed out at the Junior School Office while accompanied by a parent.
