Kristin has a range of first class facilities many of which are available for hire.

Auditorium The Auditorium is a feature of the school. With seating capacity for 1097 it is an effective space for large scale student productions and school presentations. The facility includes state of the art sound and lighting equipment with two full time staff managing the busy Auditorium schedule. For specifications and booking requests click here.
Chapel The school Chapel is a peaceful and sacred place open to the school community during the day for quiet reflection. A place for belonging, and an authentic space where the various backgrounds and beliefs of each one of us will be respected. For specifications and booking requests click here.
Dove Memorial Theatre An intimate venue with seating for approximately 200. Opened in 2005 it is perfect for lectures, drama, dance and musical performances, as well as being an important teaching space. The Dove is part of the Arts Centre, connecting the Auditorium, music suites, tutorial rooms, drama and dance studios, and foyer entrance. For specifications and booking requests click here.
Golf Range The Golf Range a is fully netted facility which has 10 covered and lit bays. The Range is 60 metres long. Indoor facilities include conference and lecture rooms which are computer and internet capable. A gym is also available. The Golf Range are currently operated by the Institute of Golf. It is used for PE lessons and after school coaching for beginners, intermediate and advanced players in the school Golf programme and for our elite athletes. Library Information Centre The LIC is an outstanding, award winning complex in the heart of the Kristin campus. The building includes two libraries - Junior and Middle/Senior – computer research facilities, and selected spaces for private reading or class activities. Enthusiastic and specialised staff support teachers and students with their information needs, encouraging academic excellence and a love of reading. Ruapehu Lodge Kristin School has owned this A-Frame 1970s lodge in Iwikau Village, Mt Ruapehu, since 2003. Originally a YMCA facility, it was purchased by the school to provide an off-site base for outdoor education and is used all year round for camps, snowsports, field trips and training. Hockey Turf Our competition sized hockey turf is located at the rear of the Junior School (access via Gate 1). Fully equipped with stadium lighting this turf incorporates the latest technology, the surface is the best available and meets the International Hockey Federation (FIH) performance standards.
